My Grocery Outlet Vegan Haul

This week I did a Grocery Outlet vegan trip. Let me tell you, I was more than impressed! Everything is at a discount and contrary to popular belief, was not close to expiring.

Grocery Outlet is great for healthy eating due to their “NOSH” section. It is full of Vegan, Paleo, GF, and Keto items. I found meat substitutes, veggies, and several dairy free products. All for around $30! See below for what I bought and the prices they were.

1. 'The Coconut Collaborative' Yogurt

Grocery Outlet Vegan

Purchase Price: $0.75 Each

The Coconut Collaborative prides themselves in being plant-based and create their product from the milk of coconuts (I know the name is a dead giveaway!). Each Container of yogurt has about 160 calories.

A perfect option for a vegan breakfast!

2. 'Gardein' Mardarin Chick'n

Grocery Outlet Vegan

Purchase Price: $3.50

Gardein is one of my favorite meat substitutes. It is also a Grocery Outlet vegan staple because they regularly have it in stock.

I used to eat it even when I wasn’t focusing on a plant based diet! They have many other options too.

3.'Chloe's' Dark Chocolate Pops

Grocery Outlet Vegan

Purchase Price: 2/$5.00

Because, you know everyone needs a sweet frozen treat during the summer.

These plant based popsicles are only 60 calories a pop making them a perfect end of the day treat!

4. 'Franz' Grain and Seed Bread

Grocery Outlet Vegan

Purchase Price: $3.99

I usually go for Daves Killer Bread from Costco but I forgot to pick it up this week. Luckily the Grocery Outlet  had this great alternative. I’m excited to try it!

5. Green Onions

Purchase Price: $0.59

I love adding green onions to dishes! I am also going to try and regrow them from this bunch!

6. Black Beans

Grocery Outlet Vegan

Purchase Price: $1.50

Black Beans are a staple for a vegan diet! You may not be able to tell from the photo but this is a jumbo sized can.

7. Cilantro

Grocery Outlet Vegan

I’m planning on making some vegan nachos this week. Who else thinks its weird people hate Cilantro?

8. Alfredo Sauce

Grocery Outlet Vegan

Purchase Price: $3.99

I love Alfredo and this sauce was so discounted!

9. Mini Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Grocery Outlet Vegan

Purchase Price: $2.00 Each

I love Cauliflower crust for pizza! But if you have every tried to make it, you now it is extremely difficult to do.

I’ve never tried this product but I’m hoping to make some delicious vegan pizza’s for lunch this week!

10. Vegan Mozzarella Cheese

Purchase Price: $3.50

I bought this specifically for the pizza’s I want to make for lunch this week! They did not have any shredded Mozzarella substitutes in stock but when shopping at a discount store, you get creative.

11. OHi Superfood Bar

Purchase Price: $1.50

I probably could have done without this one, but for the price I couldn’t resist. Sometimes I am too busy with work and miss a meal so this is perfect for those days!

I love searching Grocery Outlet vegan options! It so exhilarating finding quality food at a discount.

  1. Hey Allison, I am amazed by how many vegan food items you managed to find at the grocers. I am not vegan, but I like to look at the vegan section (partly because the packaging is always so pretty!). I notice that my local supermarkets don’t stalk any vegan options, but the fancier ones in other neighborhoods do.

Btw, I love your blog and I think the content you have is very niche and I love it! I’m going to follow you on Pinterest because I would love to see more content from you.

  2. Wow! Grocery Outlet is such an affordable way to eat healthy. Definitely heading there for my next shopping trip.

  3. I love grocery outlet! There was one near where my dad works so we’ve been going there for year. And you’re right, a lot of stuff isn’t close to expiring, yet the prices are ridiculous! It’s not as aesthetically pleasing as Trader Joe’s but I love it nonetheless ☺️

  4. Ooooo. I’ve always wondered about Grocery Outlet. I am def going to check them out. Everything does seem very affordable!!!! Thank you for this! 🙂
